Guangzhou
Government - It implements policies to ensure and
cultivate a positive business climate in Nansha. It strongly supports
the Nansha IT Park and expects it to play a key, pivotal role in
the development of the Pearl River Delta area into a knowledge-based
economy.
"(We) have designated Nansha to be
Guangzhou new city Center. When fully developed, it will
be the center of Guangzhou economic and commercial activities;
and Guangzhou will have advanced from being a 'river city'
to a 'sea port city'. (We) recognize that the development
of Nansha and greater Nansha is vital to Guangzhou's overall development,
both economically and socially. The development of Nansha
will be accelerated over the next five years."
Mr. Lin Shusen
Party Secretary of Guangzhou, and
Former Mayor of Guangzhou
