When fully developed, it will be the center of Guangzhou economic and commercial activities; and Guangzhou will have advanced from being a 'river city' to a 'sea port city'. (We) recognize that the development of Nansha and greater Nansha is vital to Guangzhou's overall development, both economically and socially. The development of Nansha will be accelerated over the next five years."
